Art that Inspires You

I have been creating art since childhood, and painting has grown from a lifelong passion into my full-time artistic practice. I work primarily in acrylic and watercolor, inspired by color, light, texture, movement, and our emotional connection to nature and place.

My acrylic paintings allow me to build layers of bold color, texture, and movement, while watercolor brings softness, fluidity, and unpredictability. I enjoy letting intuition and experimentation guide each piece and discovering something unexpected along the way.

Nature and travel continually inspire my work. The dramatic light and expansive landscapes of the Southwest, along with lakes, forests, changing seasons, and other beautiful places I've experienced, find their way onto my canvas. My current work explores landscapes, water, reflection, and the way light can shift our perception of a familiar place.

Over the past decade, I have developed a professional practice creating original and commissioned artwork. My work has been exhibited through Lumina in Phoenix and is part of a permanent public installation on the Wheel Way Walk in Petoskey, Michigan.

For me, painting is a way of paying attention—to light, nature, and the moments that often go unnoticed. Each piece is an invitation to pause, connect, and see something familiar in a new way.
